The Athens skyline from just north of the Erechtheum. Notice the Temple of Hephaestus in the darker green area towards the bottom center of the picture.
Another view from the southeast of the Porch of the Caryatids on the Erechtheum.
The Theater of Dionysus as seen from the Acropolis. The large modern looking building with multiple stories is the new Acropolis Museum.
The Temple of Hephaestus as seen from the Acropolis. It used to be known as the Temple of Theseus.
The main entrance to the Acropolis Museum. That is an active archaeological dig site there, and under most of the museum, around which the museum was built.
A bottle - and glass - of cold, frosty deliciousness. Had a couple of these with our lunch in the little burg of Palea, and it was pretty darned good beer.
