The main square inside the castle. The stage was set up for a function - they hold receptions and things at the castle.
The main kitchen for Castello Odescalchi. Looks like they could prepare some major feasts here!
The southeast turret peeking above the buildings in Bracciano. And yes, it really was that steep!
A portion of our group after a fabulous lunch at Trattoria Sora Lella in Ceri. Mac's in the black blazer to the left. Peggy's facing the camera, with Odette and Jerry with their backs to the camera. Carolyn is across the table, and Reba is facing left.
I happened to see this beautiful (gelding maybe?) running way in the distance while shooting some pics of the area surrounding Ceri from our high vantage point. I used my super zoom capability on the new camera to reach out and touch this - he was at least a mile off, if not farther. Regardless, a beautiful animal!
Part of the group making their way out of the trattoria (Trattoria Sora Lella). It was a fantastic lunch!
The entrance into the Archaeological Museum in Cerveteri that houses a bunch of Etruscan artifacts. They were stingy about taking photos inside, so I don't have any...but the museum was really cool.
